Hi all, I'm new to this forum and can see that everyone on here has more information on their ww2 relatives than I do. My dad, who I didn't really know as he died just before I turned 9, was a signalman in the Middle East for about 6 years. The one paper I can find amongst family stuff says the date of arrival overseas 1/1/42 (I think but it's hard to read). it's stamped for leave to the UK 19/7/46. Just wondered if, whilst researching, might keep an eye out for Richard Angus Murray-Macdonald... a Welshman... Thanks
