Proposed Memorial to Lancaster Crew PB 812

Not sure whether I'll attend or not yet, but one of our group will be going so hopefully he'll take some photos.

 

Weather and serviceability permitting the BBMF Lancaster is expected to attend Saturday. Whilst I don't know the exact timing they are pencilled in for after lunch.

The RAF will also be represented at the ceremonies at the church.

 

All went very well on the 10th. Sadly it rained quite heavily on the day. After the church service a plaque was unveiled on the wall opposite followed by the one near the crash site in Love Lane. I have a few images that my friend took and if I gain permission I will put them on here. I've copied the Order of Service which is below. Sorry to be late on this topic - I am researching one of the crew on this flight - Anthony Gatward Robinson. Is it possible to be put in contact with Linda? I am in Sydney as well! I have contacts in the Robinson family if she doesn't have one.
