Many Thanks Tricky Dicky but I could do with it bigger if possible and without any writing.
    Appreciate you looking though :)

Perhaps ask members Minden or Vitellino, I know there is another member based in Italy but can't remember their username at the moment

What's wrong with spending 4 quid on a photo via TWGPP ?
My mate recently got got some photos from them of his relative's name on Arras Memorial, he was very pleased with their service .

    David,

The Cooler King posts infrequently here, but was here a month ago. If he has flagged this thread he will get an alert that you have just posted. I will next send him a PM to have a look; you do not have this option till x5 posts made.

If you hover over his name you can see what he has posted.

This is the only thread with his Service Number.

Some research tips sent for long term use.

I have searched this site using: "2nd battalion" + "hampshire regiment" site:ww2talk.com

There are many threads which include them and other units. I have skimmed through them and this thread refers to December 1944: Lamone Crossing : 2nd - 13th December 1944 It does not mention your great uncle!
