Politics aside, probably the last of the American Presidents without his own personal agenda and concern over image.

George Bush with Babe Ruth when he was captain of Yale baseball team in 1948. Ruth had cancer and died within months.

It will be interesting to read or listen to what both Democrats & Republicans have to say on this past President. Hes done rather well to get to the grand old age of 94.

    Regards,
    Stu.

Not a great president, but not a bad man either. And he was a WWII veteran, the last president of whom that can be said. RIP.

President Bush is also well remembered for what he did for tearing the wall down which split my country.

As a WW11 veteran, he brought the right values to the presidential appointment, perhaps not a great president but his handling of the breakup of the Warsaw Pact and Desert Storm were key momments of his term.
    RIP George Bush

He liked Dana Carvey's impressions of him so much over the years that he invited him to the White House.

  11. Typical US cowboy behaviour: wasting valuable Oerlikon ammo to sink a dinghy which could have been salvaged, or if not, sunk simply using a pocket knife :D
