    Hi everyone!
Is there a way to find out which units (divisions) had this
    buckle model?

Seems like a long shot, i know, but given the type of the buckle
    I though i give it a shot.

Any info someone can offer would be much appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Catalin

There seems to be 2 types commonly shown, the one like yours with rounded anchor tails
    [IMG]

And the other type with more flattened anchor tails

Do you know if there were 2 types and if so when or where each was used - it might you define the one you have

I also notice that on some the horizontal bar at the top differs on them, some are solid and some segmented - I assume there is a reason for that, again it may lead to different manufacturers or divisions of the Navy

from what i have understood from the research i've done so far,
the rounded is pre-war type and the flatten was issued during the war.

but which divisions had the rounded type is something I have not
been able to find out so far.
