    here is a jacket of a german prisoner of war captured by french army

    a very strange item made by Otto F. prisoner of war in Normandy ( 12nd SS div. ) to cook meals

    Is that jacket from the 1940 period or late/post war Denis?
    Surely an even more unusual item if it's from before the occupation?
    Stove looks like the modern day Trangia.

    hello adam,
    this jacket and trousers belonged to a german soldier captured in 1944 near Lille ( north of france ). This soldier worked in a farm . The colours on the photos here are not very good - I have bought a digital camera at a little price - but all is original. It seems too that the soldier washed them with blue clothes because we can see blue colour on differents parts of the jacket
