  2. Lee, that's great. Thank you. Can I download them do you know? Sorry I'm a bit of a technophobe so always spend hours trying to do something that is not possible!

  3. Great news!

I didn't know that my sister had kept a box full of memorabilia that my late Mum had collected. In it I found a programme for a play that my father appeared in.....at this very camp! I also found a photo of him taken with fellow actors at the time. There is also a page of the programme designated for autographs and messages which my Dad had the cast sign.

  4. Apologies for the uploading of the following files....they're a little out of sequence!

I've managed to scan the programme for Doctor Clitterhouse but I'm not sure about the quality as it's now a very flimsy piece of paper. I hope the names of the cast may arouse some interest. The first photograph shows what we believe to be the cast of this show. My father is on the extreme right at the front.

I've also attached a copy of the programme for another production, Idyll Moments, at the same camp.

Dad also appeared in another show with Sam Kydd who he described as a natural and a really good bloke.

The second photo is of Dad and Frank "Uncle Jack" Allen presenting a floral display to the wife of Guy German (his CO in Norway) for the work she did on their behalf whilst POW's.

Forgot to mention this.....one of life#s strange coincidences:

My father played the part of "Tug" Wilson in Doctor Clitterhouse. My father in law served in the Royal Navy and his name was Albert "Tug" Willson!!! Strange or what???
