Are you sure you've got the right POW number?
The closest I can find is: 7978 - Sjt R MacLean, Army Nu:2928241, Cameron Highlanders.

Thats his army number, must've been given the wrong POW number. Is there somewhere on line I can check his POW number?
Think his DCM might have been pre war in Palestine, Owen.

    Not to my knowledge.

Anyway... to answer your original question, his last camp was Stalag 383 at Hohen Fels, which is/was north-west of Regensburg.

In a book called, Prisoners of War British Army 1939-1945. It's an Alphabetical Nominal Register of all British POW's in March 1945.

Out of curiosity, we have two different spellings of his surname, which one is correct. McLean or MacLean
