Possible missing Battalions in Commonwealth Divisions

Aixman, thank you and do you have any more info on the 15th AA Reg?

Joslen has a second entry for 15 LAA Regt:
02.08.42 - 31.08.45 7 Armoured Division

 

95 ATk Regt was never under divisional command, it was always either 8th Army or BTE troops.

From 19 Aug 42 (until I think 3 Aug 43) a detachment (size unknown) from 83 ATk Regt was in 50 Div.

149 ATk Regt was in 70 Div 6 Dec 41 to 19 Aug 42, on 11 Sep 42 it joined 4 Ind Div, it reverted to 8th Army on 25 Jun 43 it reverted to GHQ until 31 Dec 43 when it rejoined 4 Ind Div.

56 ATk Regt joined 5 Ind Div 4 Dec 43 and remained with them for the duration.

69 ATk Regt joined 70 Div in India 4 Dec 43 but was removed on 10 Dec 43.

10 Ind Div had 1 Ind ATk Regt in Iraq but I can't find anything for later, which is a bit strange

8 Ind Div had 4 Ind ATk Regt.

No trace of an ATk regt with 2 Armd Div.

I haven't checked Joslen because he's covered in another post. Above (less Ind Regts) comes from AG 4 Medals 584/45, available at WO 212/493. This lists the overseas subordination of all RHA and RA regts and HQs. I don't have the pages for AA regt.

The batteries of 15 LAA seem to have been 41, 42 & 152.
Though the link above does not mention 152, so further research is required.
