    Hi lads,

If you have Polish war graves photos and want to see them utilised, then send them to Jos Avalphen who maintains a Polish war graves website.
I've had contact with him several times submitting pictures and he really does his homework on the casualties.

    Cheers,
    Derek.

I snapped this one recently in Adelaide, only because it may be of info to someone, somewhere, sometime...

(I take photos of all sorts of graves that have an interest from a military perspective while looking for WW2 RAAF graves - has anyone ever compiled a list of all of the relevant threads related to grave photography? Besides the RAAF WW2 work on behalf of Spidge, I have seen threads for AJEX, Polish, Airborne, Recon, MPs & female casualties - is that all of them? I would hate that I have photos on my system that someone is looking for but I am unaware of their interest.)

I think I have already added a couple of Aussie para casualties to a thread on airborne graves (your thread?). I know I have added Private Skelly plus the 1Para memorial from FNQ plus the Red Beret Hotel.

I suppose a better question is: what gravestones in Australia do you want? I have toured a big chunk of the country (& Spidge has done another huge chunk).

I have been contacted by Greg from the website Niebieska eskadra - groby, cmentarze, pomniki, miejsca pamięci polskich lotników.. concerning this photo. He is going to add it to his website and he has provided a few details to go with the image.

Leon & Stefani CZARNECKI are buried in the Dudley Park Cemetery (Exeter Terrace, Dudley Park) in Adelaide, South Australia.

Leon served during the war in the Polish Air Force in Great Britain with RAF service no 784 801, Polish rank - Sergeant, British rank - Corporal. He was a gunsmith in 307 Night Fighter Squadron
