Polish Medal Query

    I am hoping someone can identify this Polish war medal for me please? I have found the same ribbon online but attached to a diffeerent medal.
    It is my pals polish grandfathers. Any help or tips would be welcome,

    The ribbon is the same as the Polish Home Army Cross - but the medal is different.

    That's what I found too.I've looked through pages of wikipedia medals for polish awards and seen some close to but not the same as it. Maybe it's a post war civilian medal or something?
    Anyone got a polish grandad to ask!
