Hi all, Another one of my indentification posts that I hope you'll all be able to help me with especially all you well travelled people. I recently won a couple of photo's on ebay, the seller told me that he had some more lots coming up from the same source that I may be interested. I asked him if he'd be interested in selling the whole collection as one item...nothing wrong in asking I thought. He came back to me and said that he would like to keep the colletion together so make me an offer...well made an offer and he said yes. The collection consists of: Captured Italian artillery pieces Burnt out German half track Sd.Kfz7 88mm flak anti tank gun Stuka Ju87 Junkers Ju52 Fiat Biplane Sherman tank on transporter Camp sites Convoys of ambulances Italian prisoners British? tank overturned with writting on the bottom British trucks going through villages Artillery on the move through Derna pass Engineers contructing some sort of hanger a picture of 7 royal navy ship moored up (4 being aircraft carriers) more picture of ship moored up. groups of soldiers and lots more. I've not got much information on places etc...but on one of the pictures its got on the back"onboard City of Hereford" dated 11th October 41 - 29th December 41 anyone know where this ship was heading and where we were during those dates. I've attached some photos that I am hoping people maybe able to help me identify, there are a few of buildings which are very distinctive so I hoping people might recognize them.
