could any one help me to find out were 2 places are my grandad was here in the war SECUNDERABAD and also YAWATHIT thanks for your help also if any could tell me how to get in touch with the airborne division as this is who he served with in the war i am trying to find out about his time in the forces and the war thanx DARREN :ph34r:

Hi Darren, Secunderabad is in India, about 650 kms s/e of Mumbai or Bombay as it used to be known. Ywathit is in Burma (now Myanmar) and part of the allied fighting to cross the Irrawaddy river in Feb/Mar 1945, and the battle of Meiktila, which virtually destroyed the Japanese army as a fighting force.
