Marvellous stuff. Had one like this once in a holiday cottage in Cornwall, came in as bold as brass like it owned the place, even went upstairs for a while!
Years ago another robin would always come into our garden when I called it, just before I put some food down. One time, after snow, it was out there calling me! I went out and put food down but, nope, ignored that and stood resolutely on the water bowl until I’d de-iced the water, cheeky little bugger.
Wonderful little chaps and chapesses, although I know they’re apparently not quite so cuddly with other birds.
