Pictures of My Grandfather and Crew, 1132nd Combat Engineers

These two pictures are of my Grandfather (one wearing glasses) in France. He was with the 1132nd Combat Engineers and was at Camp Lucky Strike. Was wondering if anyone recognizes the men in the pictures with him? Any information on the men and the 1132nd Combat Engineers would be great

Looks like a hard top on that jeep. I wonder if that was made in the field. Combat Engineers so it's possible

 

The scene could likely be the winter of 1944-1945 looking at the snow...a wet,cold and heavy snowfall of a winter as described many times when Hitler attempted to take Antwerp with his Ardennes offensive.

Pity that there is not more information displayed of the shop in the cafe scene.

 

All that was written on the back of the picture was "At our favorite cafe in Paris"
