Thanks Peter - that will save me a trip form Felixstowe - although I would have willingly done it for Spidge.

    Hi Little Friend,

Thank you for the great photos.

Moreton in the Marsh was the cemetery that started my project 6 years ago.

I sourced a photo for a lady in Sydney whose 20 year old brother left home when she was a 9 year old and she never saw him again. Both the mother and her daughter were invalid pensioners and could not afford the money requested by a photographic website in the UK.

The daughter said her mother cried uncontrolably for two days and would not let go of the photo and seemingly had release at last.

    Cheers

    Geoff

You're welcome Spidge, there's also five or six NZ headstones there too. I have a few more burial areas to check-out along my travels, so anymore RAAF headstones I discover I'll photograph.
Here are a couple of the Moreton pub that I took about 10 years ago. I'm sure the sign had recently been re-painted around that time.

The above plaque is within this church, Holy Trinity, at Preston Wynne, Herefordshire.

The copy of the book shown ISBN 0 9532727 0 2. is well worth obtaining, first published 1998.
Among the personal effects of Albert Henry Hines - RAAF - Bomb Aimer aged 20 a letter was found with the following inside; 'Tell England, all ye who pass this monument, I died for her and here I lie content' substitute '' The peoples of the world'' for ''England''...
It really is a wonderfully well told account of these nine young men at war.

    Spidge,

    Bloody good effort!

I can't help at the moment, but I head to Lincolnshire relatively regularly. I'll check before I head there next time to see if Lincoln is colmplete.

    Good luck,

    Roxy

    Spidge,

Do you still need the one from Griffith? A work colleague travels out there once a month and I will ask him if he has time to have a look.

    Any in Canberra you need?

    Hi BCT,

Thank you for the offer however I did a 1600km drive a few weeks ago and picked up most of my outstanding photos in Victoria including Griffith and Albury and Beechworth. I also now have all of the ACT.

    Cheers

    Hi Geoff

Are you still after a photo from the Jerusalem memorial? I have Lieut Webster if it could possibly be him.
