John James Wright is mentioned in the 'Second World War Civilian Casualties In Britain 1940-1945' as RA Gunner, having died 11/5/41 as a result of an air raid. Address given as Exeter aerodrome. Death looks to be registered in Devon.

    Thanks Tony.

I came across this wounded list purely by chance.

1737089 Gnr John Hames Wright, 34 Bty., 12 (11th Bn. The London Regt.) Lt. A.A. Regiment, Royal Artillery Died 12th May 1941 aged 31 buried East Sheen Cemetery

Son of David Malin Wright, and Louisa Wright, of Mortlake; husband of Elizabeth Wright.

DEATH HAS SEALED HIS YOUTHFUL LIPS BUT HIS SILENCE SPEAKS FOR ENGLAND

Edited my post to say that death looks to be registered in Devon, newspaper gives his address as Albert Road, Richmond which ties in with the East Sheen cemetery.
