Would any member have information on the above lady please?

She is buried in Hither Green Cemetery, London and her headstone records her as 'Fatally injured at Penzance, 19th July 1944 age 18 years'

Tried finding my aunts service with the Womans Land Army but got no where via the Scottish National Archives. Records are few and far between from what I can gather. It's a shame more records weren't kept. Good luck.

Not only Google but the local museum and archives and a couple of 'experts' who were only interested in the experiences of living survivors.

    Hello Tony,

    Maybe of help:
    1) Land girl service records are in the archives of the IWM, accessible on microfilm at Kew
    2) A monthly magazine was published "The Land Girl". Copies can be viewed by appointment at the Women's Library, Metropolitan University, London.
