Hello Some Passchendaele advice please, I am making a painting of the attack, now I know what the pill boxses look like as there are 3 at Tyne cot, however I'd like some advice re: 1) how far where they in depth 2) would there have been trenches between them or were they stand alone fortresses 3) also how thick was the barbed wire 4) I've heard of different stories regarding the German machine gunners, one source told me that they actually used the tops of the pill boxes rather than the slit?
