Can anyone please confirm for me which Polish squadron P/O Stanislaw Podkowicz flew with. He was a navigator so that seems to limit him to 300, 301, 304, 305 or 307. He is known to have transferred from the Polish army to the Polish Air Force some time in 1943. Many thanks

    your query?

Stanisław Podkowicz (P-2390) was transferred to the PSP from the corps of infantry officers on October 31, 1943, on the basis of order No. 3/44 PSP Inspectorate of March 1, 1944.

Yes, I saw that and I thought it was odd that he was transferred on the basis of an order issued 5 months AFTER the date of the transfer

Yes, that's the man. I had hoped that Krzystek's List would tell me which squadron he served in but that was not to be. He was a navigator so it would have to be one of the squadrons I mentioned as they were the only ones to use navigators
