There is a document in existence that show the exact position of ever class of ship around Southampton water per invasion. I have a copy somewhere here in my house.

Sincere thanks for posting that information. Any idea where LST229 would have been. My dad was on that one!

 

I will post the other three sheets tomorrow. Unfortunately I don't think the LSTs are shown individually.
