I used to know a guy that would gladly take part in these kind of passive aggressive mudslinging contests. That guy was amazing; he could go on for days heckling people. I sometimes miss that guy.

Never a dull moment, eh? I use Norton and have never had a problem. I sincerely hope that WW2F will continue to live on. While this site is interesting, it has little to offer a Yank like me. Ah well, I'll muddle along somehow.

Nice to be seen. I just don't know what to do with the other forum. I visit every day, and it seems fewer and fewer do so. I'll admit that I'm lost without it.

 

I just ran Malware Bytes, and cleaned some trojans and spyware from my computer. Then I tried to access WW2f, and guess what.....?

I was still redirected to a dangerous site, which Malware Bytes blocked.

At this juncture I can only assume I am being intentionally redirected to a dangerous by the powers that be on WW2f. Why am I not surprised?

I for one do not know all the nitty gritty regarding your exit from WW2f and I do not care however I would ask that you do not use this forum as a platform to continue your tirade.

Making unsubstantiated accusations and assumptions as above just adds to the tedium.

Tirade? Perhaps your dictionary provides a different rendering of the definition than mine.

I have no doubt you are well within your rights to censure me, but when you do please, please use accurate descriptors for what I am doing wrong.

Thank you for your interest in my posts. Under the current circumstances I think it unlikely there will be many more.

Believe me, there is no vendetta against you. Once you've been banned, we rarely think of you again (unless you try to re-register).

I don’t want to get banned so I will drop this issue after I make this final point. Then you and whoever else wishes to can say what you will.

It has been clear for some time that the site has been under attack to varying degrees with the intent of driving away its users. If it continues the site will eventually lose it’s traffic, and will no longer be worth the effort required to resurrect it. It is my opinion that the rough treatment habitually dealt out to those deemed unworthy prior to and immediately after they are banned may well be the root cause of the ongoing problems at WW2F. At some point these unwelcome and unnecessary punishments garnered the ire of someone who has the skill and desire to strike back. Relax, I am getting to my final point on the subject.

If my suppositions are correct, and if you are able to restore the site to its former “glory” you may be well advised to ameliorate these unsavory tactics in order to forestall future attacks. For those of you not familiar with this type of reasoning, I suggest you consider a successful commander’s thought processes as he marshals his available resources to meet the panoply of probable enemy threats. In other words, he must consider the capabilities of the enemy, order them by probability of success, and act accordingly. In the case of WW2F, the way forward in light of this reasoning is crystal clear.

 

Dull tool here...Not fair that the smarts should understand what is crystal clear, and leave us/me guessing....If you could comment just 1 more time to explain...I've put in a few hundred hours over there and would appreciate some clarity....What was your user handle at WW2F?....Thanks WW2T, for boarding me/us while in transition/transmogrification.

I wished that I could tell you more, Dave and others other than right now, Otto is unable to address the problem.

It is vexing me as much as you, if not more.

 

I log onto and post at ww2f almost every day with no problems at all. Well, at least 3 or 4 times a week anyway. Sometimes 5 times a week if I am really feeling ambitious. So far so good.

 

I wished that I could tell you more, Dave and others other than right now, Otto is unable to address the problem.

To the rest of you that call this forum home, be thankful that Otto decided to "update" WW2F to version 4 of vBulletin first, instead of WW2Talk, or you would be dealing with this set of issues instead the membership there.
