First poppy out in garden .
Taken just after walking in the footsteps of the Salford Pals on Thiepval Ridge the other week.
Field in the Cotswolds near Northleach.
Haven't seen many fields this full of poppies this summer.

no but a fair few in the garden mostly purple
Poppy pictures taken today at Markinch on road to St Andrews,some amazing poppy fields up here in Scotland.
Mine haven't grew this year and the one that did the bleeding dog bit the bud off the little sod
This is the reverse slope of Point 103 near to St Pierre and Tilly sur Seulles in Normandy. The forward slope overlooks the Seulles valley and Tilly itself, Point 103 being a much fought over location due to its strategic significance.
