    Saw this original IWGC grave marker today in the church in Burford.
    There is a good write up on the wall but afraid the text isnt too clear in the photo.

    If you don't mind I took a quick look around and found the following which has a photo of his grave in Belgium:

Veteran of The War in South Africa. Queen's medal 3 clasps King's medal 2 clasps. Wounded in 1914. Cross and testimonial in the Parish Church. Awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) [London Gazette 14/1/1916]. 1st Battalion, The North Staffordshire Regiment. 24th New Army Division. Killed in action Mount Sorrel 17th June 1917. Buried in Railway Dugouts Burial Ground, Zillebeke, Ypres. B. 127. Aged 39.
