There is a memorial Plaque at Burford Priory Chapel, in oxfordshire, which is in memory of those that left the Priory, where they were billited on the 17th Sept, but did not return.

the plaque was erected on the 16th Aug 1946, and is mentioned in 'Where Dragons Flew' but i have not been able to trace a photo on the internet

The memorials are to be found within the Church of St Vincent in Caythorpe, within the church are memorials to the Airborne troops who fought at Arnhem in World War 2 in the form of plaques and a window

In memory of the men of the
    First Airborne Divisional Signals
who lost their lives at Arnhem.

What I meant to say Phil, that some are still Missing in Action, and such can have any graves at Oosterbeek

Picking the sprog up from a Cub camp at Caythorpe Court in Lincolnshire yesterday - found that one of the buildings, now named Arnhem Court (Or similar.... definitely Arnhem something), was occupied by 1st Airborne Signals immediately prior to Market Garden, and a Horsa fuselage used to stand for training purposes where we parked .

Looks like they were rendering the courtyard walls on the day of departure and one soldier neatly wrote 'A Sec' (tion) in the render with a little parachute symbol above. This is now joined by a plaque commemorating the men and their actions.

Touching stuff... but I failed the camera test and left the damned thing behind .

The first memorials are on my site and ofcourse it are those in Oosterbeek:) except one from wich I don't know the exact location yet.

Coming week we will add photo's and descriptions of them all and a square
box will appear for each location in WIKIMAPIA with the info(now you only
see the pointer at most locations)

Also 2 Google Maps for a general overview. I could have done it all in
Google but WIKIMAPIA has some advantages above Google Maps and now
you can use both the way you want.

After oosterbeek I will proceed with the other places in the Arnhem area
    first.

Any comments and critics always welcome

I presume these are the bodies of men that were hit or whose boat was sunk and drowned during Operation Berlin and washed ashore along the Rhine possibly close to Wijk bij Duurstede.

Don't know, that's about 40 kilometers from Oosterbeek. They were found
in the Rhine in 1944 but can't find a date, I suppose they weren't all found
    on the same date.
