I can't find anything on the operation by English spies to sabotage the underground facility for the V2, and in the forseeable future, longer range missles.
It's my understanding that spies had to infiltrate and open the launch hatches so hornets or mosquitoes could drop bombs inside the facility. Does anyone have anything on this? No searches produced anything for me.

This is a good outline of the movie made in probably the late 1960s, but I don't know how much it was based on fact. As far as I know, the Germans never ran out of V2s and kept firing them at Britain until the allied advance into Germany put them out of range.

As far as I am aware, there was no longer range rocket anywhere near the production stage.

The follow-on to the V-2, designed to hit America, never got off the drawing boards at Peenemunde. It was a two-stage rocket.
