It is years since I did anything like this , "Airfix" was my choice of kit 29 pence for a "series one" , saved for the larger ones as cash flow allowed. I have to admire anyone who has the attention to detail , skill and patience to bring these kits from crude plastic to a representation of an imagined scene. Thank you sir for the stage by stage view of construction , much of it skill I never had.
@ razorboy; may I am allowed some "bad" questions? A) The side-wall of the loading bay was not to be kept horizontal - how is it "fixed" that way at your model (I know; by glue ;-)) B) I have never seen a reference photo of an Opel Blitz carrying such gun. Would not exclude that this makeshift combination existed but would be more than curious to see the reference. C) Presume that the "dirt" was applied by the crew to have some sort of camouflage once the truck arrived in grey color in North Africa - correct?
