I have documented a recent build and thought you might like to see the whole process. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like, if this process gets to be a bore let me know and I'll jump right to the "finished" pics.
I had this Italeri Opel Blitz 3ton type 'S' truck in the closet for about 25 years and finally decided to build it:

Even though most of it won't be visible when the kit is completed, I felt like I still needed to thoroughly paint the chassis, engine and drivetrain components:

A bit more paint here and there. Stippling with a fine point Grummbacher using the dark grey base color. Decals applied at this time as well.

How've you applied the Dunkelgelb Rboy?
Sprayed or brush? Almost looks like it's been dabbed on with a cottonbud? Or pigment powders?
I like it, but can't work it out.

    Cheers,
    Adam.

I used cheap(68 cents/ 2oz.) Wal-Mart "Plaid" brand acrylics, mixed the colors I needed and it's all 100% brush applied..... with my 30 year old Grummbacher brushes.

First model I've ever built with Photo-Etched parts .... what a major pain! But what detail!

Didn't get any feedback on my last set of pics, nontheless I shant let it bother me. Here is the next set of pics on the 'Blitz Build'.

Here are the final set of "Build Pics". The Diorama pics will be posted as soon as it is finished.

Added 20mm ammo box rack and tarp. Rack is balsa wood and the tarp is kleenex folded and dampened with a water/white glue mix.
