    • The War Against Japan: Volume IV The Reconquest of Burma 1965. File 1, File 2
    • The War Against Japan: Volume V The Surrender of Japan 1969. File 1, File 2 All volumes are Google Books.
    • The maps may be poorly scanned in the above volumes.
    • Also available in reprint editions[1] where the maps may be expected to be better, earlier editions of which are available as one online book The War Against Japan (2072 digital pages) on the Ancestry owned pay website fold3 (located in Military books/Japan), which however consists of the first three volumes only, not the full five volume series.

    Thanks again, Maureene, for keeping us informed of the latest digital books. I have the original hard copies but to have them available on the computer is fantastic.

    We called here at the Grave of Sir Winston Churchill today. VJ Day. The BBMF were doing a three times flyover of the ceremony at 1pm. Sadly only the Spitfire and Hurricane appeared. We could hear them, but due to the large crowd, the tree's and Church steeple it was very difficult to photograph them. They were so low, fast and directly over our heads, unlike at an Air Show. Great to just watch and hear.
