A really nice and thought-provoking BBC programme first shown in 1986. The airfield is now a museum and fitting memorial to the Bomber and ground crews of RAF BC. Excellent.
Will have to sit and watch that at some point. Went there for the fireworks the year before last - three Lanc taxi runs, run-ups of their half-restored Mossie's engine, nice three-bay pillbox on the way. Made a good day of it but it got bloody busy in the evening for the fireworks - thankfully everybody else seemed to be going the other way at chucking out time.
