This is where (near as dam it) the SS Barracks were situated before it was bombed in 1945 and then cleared after the war.

Nice stuff Andy, now we want you to add GoogleEarth kmz files for each location.
    That OK?
    ;)

I'm sorry but some of those photographs were so brilliant I had to try Ghosting them. Now I've not done this before, so you'll have to give me some leeway. I call this one "Peering into the past" Ghost Hitler watches repairs to his Eagles Nest, whilst Ghost Telly Savalas looks on.

Nice pictures Andy somewhere I have always wanted to visit perhaps one day..

I saw in one of the pics there appears to be a caravan, is that a site open to the public?

This one is entitled "Gate to the past": Ghost US troops stand outside the Ghostly apparition of the giantic metal doors to a ghostly Eagles Nest, whilst Ghost Telly Savalas hides in the bushes.

After walking around the numbered sections in the centre the tour continues under ground into a vast array of bunkers.

These tunnels lead back up to houses like Martin Bormanns (When it exsisted) and Air Raid Shelters, Hospitals, Offices, Toilets, Diesel Fuel Storage Bunkers and the like.

Graffiti left by some of the french troops:

    2e DB = 2nd Division Blinde = 2nd French Armored Division
The crosses = La Croix de Lorraine du DeGaulle = Symbol of the Free French forces
