    I've not even made an online search re the history of either but that strongly reminds me of a ribald ditty about a grocer (vs. his strawberry jam or lady clerk) possibly derived from the first verse in the way of most oral tradition - thus (uncredited) from a 1960s club song book on my shelf:THE FLY

    Now there was a little fly and he flew into a store
    And he * on the ceiling and he * on the floor
    He * on the bacon and he * on the ham
    And he * on the head of the little Grocer man

    Now the little Grocer man took his little spray-gun
    And he said "I'll get that fly, before the day is done"
    But before the Grocer man could count from one to ten
    The little fly had * on the Grocer man again

    * Denotes a Raspberry
