Have just found these then and now photos taken just after D Day. Taken from a local news website. There is a picture of a flail tank. Can anyone tell if its from an American or British unit. Also a dispatch rider. Same question.Normandy 1944. Very nice set of photos there Ian. I particularly liked the Americans in front of that ruined chapel. I can see several dispatch riders - which number photo do you mean? These are the shots of the flail tank - perhaps someone might recognise the church? Stayed in the town many times
