Asperger's Syndrome, a condition on the Autistic Spectrum was named after Dr. Hans Asperger and his work in wartime Vienna in 1944. Yeah I know. Because of where it was discovered, it wasnt until the early 80's that Aspergers was finally identified and given the status that it now has.
