Im looking for any info. on the Scottish,Northumberland and Durham Auxiliary units. O.B. lists, patrol members etc. Also Home Guard members lists from the same areas as they are often linked.

Try the local libaraies and history groups they often have information also local papers will have pictures and details of home guard units during the war.

Also check with the regimental museums for the areas eg KOSB, Northumberland and Durham regiments they may hold details.

All of the Durham Light Infantry archive is now stored at the Durham Records Office they have an online search facility at

None of the paperwork is kept at the DLI Museum. If I remember correctly one of the members on this Forum has a website dedicated to the Home Guard Units .
