Does anyone know any sites in english which keep track of what events concerning D-Day will take place this year? By the way, if you're in Normandy in May and June and visiting The Utah Beach Museum, do come and say hello. I will be trying to make myself useful at the museum in this period
Hi, A good site is this one D-Day : Normandie 1944 : Cérémonies 2013 Updated on a regular basis. Regards Danny
Hi, A good site is this one D-Day : Normandie 1944 : Cérémonies 2013 Updated on a regular basis. Regards Danny Thanks Danny. That's the site I used when I was there in 2011. Couldn't find it for some reason though! Thanks again.
Gunter my Belgian friend passed this to me, there will be a collectors fair at St.Mere Eglise as well but do not know on what date, Book fair at Tilly on the Sunday all being well.
You can also try Bayeux-Bessin Tourisum. Last year I was told by the D-day committee that there main events would be at Juno Beach, there will be a event at Collevllie-Montgomery on the 8th which includes unvelling a statue of Bill Millin. You can also try Normandie Memoire and www.dday-overlord.com . The picture is my father outside Bayeux tourist office with his image on the poster.

Thankyou , we have been to the last two , really good, and one always spents a little too much. Yes James it's on the 9th and I hope to be on the 8am ferry heading home.
Sorry to hear that , we will probably not be going back until the Monday. Looking forward to seeing Tim Harper again always a good man to say "hello" to and to pick up a book from.
