No69 British Grenade

    Hi my name is Ashley and Im new to the forum. I own a No69 WW2 grenade with out the Allways Fuze, Ive had it for a number of years. I would like to know if its real or not. And also inside is the remnents of the centre which is wafer thin and always wanted to know if it is a rare thing? Thanks

    Assuming it's unfilled, then what a damned pleasing thing to own.
    I know very little about such items, but imagine it'd be an odd thing to fake.
    All Bakelite, yes? There are tests for Bakelite, which I'm not sure is fakeable, and places things in a certain date range.

    It is Bakelite yes, Im proud to own a piece of history with some internals inside.
