    No 1 Special Force "Clippers"
I have come across what I think is the wording
    No 1 Special Force "Clippers"
on the back of one of my fathers photographs The photograph is of a group of 8 men who I believe may all be wireless operators and it was taken during one of their courses.
He was a wireless operator in the Royal Signals and part of SOE
Anyone have any idea what the "Clippers" refers too.

    Many thanks,

    Peter
ps. photograph in question is on my thread below, # 12.

I have some photos and stuff about my dad who was in the Royal Signals and died over 10 years ago. I thought it might be easy to find information on the internet but haven't had much luck

I'm looking at a photo of 35 squadron, 1st company, 1st OTB, Royal Signals 1943. (Corp Carter's photo):mellow:Helpfully dad has named everyone on the back of the photo.

I know he was in India and worked for a time with the US troups (I remember him saying how much better the food was than the British army - he had dysentry twice!)

Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction and help me to find his records please.
