A few Q's for you: Can you have a look through and tell me what the parent unit was, ie the Regiment, Field, Medium, AA etc ? Does the book mention the unit going to France in 1939 or 1940? Can I have first Dibs if the unit deployed to France in 1940? Cheers Andy
A single issue sold for £8 on eBay in recent memory so that may be the best way to realise it's 'true' value but there's obviously a risk that only Andy would bid on it and it'd go for 99p! Personally, i would be very interested to learn where the 'Niggly' comes from. it may just be that they were not happy with their lot - posted to the back of beyond, or whatever - but I have seen it as a name in a Royal artillery context.
