We get in excess of 1 million page views every month and the service could not handle it, they banned me and said I had to remove it as it my site was too busy for the map software!

Fantastic on both counts.

The ideal map would be where there is a dot for each country that visits, when on pointing to that dot you get the country and the amount of hits instead of the map fading out in big red spots.
