Anyway back to the original quiz? So its from an aircraft and its a control arm I would also point out this part has an interesting history
Well its seems this quiz was just another waste of time! I try to help out on here to make it more interesting and give as much as I can but it just never seems to be enough.. I thought the idea of a quiz was to guess the answer obviously not.... For those people who were curious as to what the item was and what it was from It is one of the control arms from the wing structure of a Wellington bomber....and not just any Wellington but R for Robert that was lifted out of Lochness..... I got it from Brooklands Museum when they were restoring her to her static condition and paid £5 for it to add to the fund to continue the work... Awww come on, pipe down - I don't think anybody considered it a waste of time . Maybe some more hints would have been helpful . As for the guesses: I'm a female so don't expect me to understand anything about the technical aspects of things (just look how far off I was with tractor). Interesting story of the piece btw!
To guess a battle from a battle situation clue,or something similar might be preferable as a quiz to the less technical minded of us. Don't give up Cash from Coulsdon.

I was under the impression you had started a new quiz similar to the Name that vehicle and as you said I had guessed the name of the part I thought it was up to me to start the next Guess what this is. It was certainly never my intention to Hijack your quiz and I took your reply to mean start another question off, not guess where the part actually came from. Regards Tom
