    Hi,
I have just found this wonderful source of information whilst researching the Worcester Yeomanry and their retreat from Dunkirk in 1940. My late father joined 210 Bty. Worcester Yeomanry in 1938 and served with them till 1942 and it is the actions at Wormhout and their retreat from Dunkirk that I am particularly interested in.

In 1942 my father transferred to 11 Royal Horse Artillery (H.A.C) and saw action in North Africa, Sicily and Italy with the 8th Army.

Rosie welcome to the forum. My father in law was at Dunkirk as well. You should be able to get help from a lot of forum members in your search for info. I did.

    Rosie.

You need to join one of my trips to Cassino and see exactly what 11 HAC got up to. There are lots of 11 and 12 HAC buried in the Cassino CWGC cemetery.

    Regards

    Frank
