Hi - quick intro my name is Rich, I'm 38, live in Hull UK and a life-long military history enthusiast. Particularly interested in C20th military and social history. For the last 10 years or so I've been studying German history (up until 1945, currently). Am also a lifelong model maker, and I'm a military and aviation book dealer by trade, specialising in high-end reference books for model makers, researchers and enthusiasts. I have permission from the mods to post my eBay links in the for sale section, so keep an eye out! Hope to become an active member of the forums.. cheers Rich
Hi Rich I see you have posted your intro 5 times-unfortunately the forum has been a bit slow of late so members are allowing a bit of time when posting. One of the mods will be along soon to delete your duplicate posts.
Hi Richard Can you keep an eye out for the following: Tyneside Scottish-Tougher than Nails The Story of the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment: Volume II: 1914-1958 by Barrow Proud Heritage: The Story of the Highland Light Infantry, vol 4 by Oatts The History of the Northamptonshire Regiment, 1934-1948 by Jervois Cheers and welcome Andy
Rich, Hello and welcome to the forum. There are several of us on the forum that are Military modellers. My scale is 1/6th mainly US WW2. Regards Tom
Rich, Please see below for a book I have produced which contains interesting social history as it is a person account of one man's war. Contains details of daily life in India , Burma & Malaya, covering training & leisure ( films watched etc), sickness and convalescence, and of course periods in action -the Arakan and Northern Burma.
