Hi all I am a new member , just interested in learning some more about world war 2 in my area.....I am australian but have been living in Italy for quite a while. I live about 500 metres from the Meldola war cemetry, and about 10 kilometres from Mussolinins tomb, so there are definately some interesting landmarks nearby. I never realised how heavy the fighting was in this are at the end of 1944, I spoke to an old lady from here and she told me about some of the incidents, ( including the germans blowing up the old bridge in Meldola) If anyone wants any photos from the Meldola was cemetry please let me know. Greetings from over Milan way !! Nice location for you, I'll have to stop in on my next trip to the Adriatic side. p.s. I like beer
