New Glock pistol for British armed forces

The Glock has a larger magazine capacity than the Browning SLP and also the weapon is partly made from plastic which caused concern for airport security scanning.


According to Glock themselves, there is more metal in a Glock 17 than say, a Walther PPK.... A statement which came out after the first newspaper rounds of "it's a plastic gun, shock horror".

Whether it's true or not I don't know but having held both, I can believe it.
