    It's been sold and totally revamped. Looking very good these days. also covers all the subsequent raids.

    That is a great site Kitty. Thanks for posting it. didnt realise that Cheshire was a Squadron Commander of 617. But there you go Airpower was never my strong point!

    I'd still like to know how the mid-upper gunner is relatived,he has to be somehow.

    I knew the site of old in its previous incarnation and it was a little ropey but still good. I see the after the war sections are still being built, but going to be amazing.
    Gotthard, even among the crews of 617, who were all volunteers to a 'suicide squadron', Cheshire was considered crazy.
    Owen, ever thought about doing your family tree? Dxx is not a common name.

    My Aussie cousin has done it, but he may be one of the other branches.
    Remember xxx from the 7/7 bombing in London?
    Well haven't a clue if he's a rellie.

    I always knew there were Australians in the raid however checking out the names, I was not aware that three of the nine pilots in the first wave were Australian.

    great site. thanks.im really looking forward to the rumoured remake of the film,any more on that?leonard cheshire began his raf service on the same squadron as my grandfather,i often wonder if they ever met..
