New CWGC Commemorations 4th March 2017

CWGC added the following casualties to the WW2 Civilian War Dead Roll today.

HEGARTY, Daniel
Died 25.10.40 Age 23
Reporting Authority: Coleraine, Rural District, N. Ireland

YOUNG, Rose May
Died 07.09.40 Age 16
Reporting Authority: Liverpool, County Borough

NOT FORGOTTEN

The above were In From the Cold Project cases.
- Daniel Hegarty was shot by a sentry while travelling in a lorry (Volunteer: Terry Denham)
- Rose Young was shot accidentally by a sentry (Volunteer: Chris Harley)

 

Good results - from what I understand these types of fatalities take a lot of effort to get accepted.
