    CWGC added the following WW2 Civilian War Dead casualties to its records today.

    CUMMING, Robert Owen
    Died 09.02.41 Age 27
    Reporting Authority: Zetland County, Scotland

    GROOMBRIDGE, William Arthur
    Died 25.09.44 Age 17
    Reporting Authority: Eastry, Rural District

    JOHNSON, George
    Died 05.04.47 Age 41
    Reporting Authority: Erpingham, Rural District

    MOORE, Robert Gladstone
    Died 11.12.42 Age 62
    Reporting Authority: Chelmsford, Municipal Borough

    SMITH, Albert Edward
    Died 11.09.44 Age 19
    Reporting Authority: Morpeth, Rural District

    VON HAGEN, Christopher
    Died 09.08.43 Age 13
    Reporting Authority: Llanelli, Rural District

    WARD, Jeremiah Barry Scott
    Died 09.02.41 Age 15

    - Armstrong and Von Hagen died in mine explosion at Pembrey (Volunteer: Terry Denham)
    - Cumming and Ward died in mine explosion on beach at Hamnavoe, Isle of Barra (Volunteer: Chris Harley)
    - Groombridge died in mine explosion at Tennant’s Hill, Thanet (Volunteer: Terry Denham)
    - Johnson died in mine explosion at Mundesley, Norfolk (Volunteer: Terry Denham)
    - Moore died in ordnance explosion in Chelmsford (Volunteer: Terry Denham)
    - Smith died in mine explosion at Druridge Bay (Volunteer: Terry Denham)
    - Lady Williams died in mine explosion at Sandwich Bay (Volunteer: Chris Harley)

    Well done Chris, Lady Williams brother was also killed in the same incident, their mother was seriously injured
