MILES, Winifred Died 18.02.41 Age 77 Died in Besancon Internment Camp Reporting Authority: France MIFSUD, Angelina Died 24.12.42 Age 63 Died in Alatri Concentration Camp Reporting Authority: Italy DOWN, Jeanne Died 14.02.42 HALL, Hereward Bosworth Died 13.02.42 HEIM, F.B. Died 11.02.42 HORABIN, Charles Thomas Died 15.02.42 MARKHAM, Henry Hugh Died 15.02.42 RAE, William Miller Died between 01.02.42 and 28.02.42 The above were killed by the Japanese attempting to escape from Singapore Reporting Authority: Malaya KITTS, Gerald Died 12.12.41 Killed by Japanese at Kampoh Toh MILLIGAN, Sybil Florence Harriet Died 05.04.44 Died in internment camp in Bangkok Reporting Authority: Thailand NOT FORGOTTEN The above were In From the Cold Project cases - WW2 Civilians (Volunteer: Chris Harley)
Is there an actual book of remembrance somewhere in which the names of these people are added, Chris? I know there is a book of remembrance in St George's Chapel, Westminster Abbey for at least some of the WW2 civilians killed by enemy action.
The original books are in Westminster Abbey as you say. There is a possibility of them being reprinted due the large number of amendments & additions.
