Private FREDERICK JOHN MARGETTS WX9262, A.I.F. 5 Garrison Bn., Australian Infantry Who died on 15 November 1944Cause of death unknown Anglican Plot. Row WF. Grave 324.
Not much on the death of MARGETTS in the newspapers - I would presume he died from an ongoing illness. According to the WW2 nominal roll he was discharged from the army in January 1944, before passing away in November. The AWM ROH does not show a cause of death and his pers file has not been digitised at the NAA as yet, so the complete answer is still out there.....
